Cobble Wobble 2025 brings Frome alive again

When we heard that the world-famous Cobble Wobble was returning after a 10-plus-year hiatus, and when we were invited to join a stellar lineup of sponsors including Red Bull, GoPro and Shimano, we didn’t think twice about getting involved by supporting with production of some of the essential assets for the event.

On Sunday 23 November 2025, we found ourselves not at the back office, but in the thick of the crowd on Frome’s famous cobbles, cheering, smiling, and soaking up the chaos.

It was a crisp, bright morning when riders began assembling at the base of Stony Street, ready to launch themselves up the brutal 179-yard climb of Catherine Hill. The course (narrow, steep, and lined with 17th-century buildings) twists sharply into Catherine Hill before ending at the summit, where the cobbles give way. It’s utterly ridiculous and that’s exactly what makes the Cobble Wobble so brilliant.

From pro champions to regular cyclists everyone got a shot. Past winners include legendary riders such as Chris Akrigg, whose 21.51-second sprint in 2010 still stands as the fastest recorded time. This year our very own 3d Designer Harvey managed the sprint in 25 seconds all dressed in silver! Fancy dress ranged from superheroes to rubber chickens,  there were constant cheers from the balconies above the street, and a carnival-like energy on the ground.

I was standing in the crowd near the finishing line when the last rider rocketed up Catherine Hill and the roar of the crowd was deafening! 

For us at Positive Experience, it was a joy to be part of the long overdue revival of this event, helping deliver something joyous and chaotic in the heart of Frome.
